A Greek Escape
Usually it's never easy to agree as family where we all want to go for our summer holiday. We try to go somewhere different every year, somewhere which suits all of us; Mum wants to sit by a pool and do as little as possible, whereas dad can't do that and wants to be up and about, seeing things and doing something, while I guess I'm a bit of a mixture of them both. Within days of finishing my first year exams and driving back home, my parents and I were on to flight to Greece.
We stayed in the southern mainland area of Pelion, in a beautiful family-run hotel with incredible views! Our deal with the hotel was that we had a boat and a car for the week, so we could either choose to explore by coast or by land. It was also a two-hour drive to the film location of Mamma Mia, which was super exciting and this was a great day trip!
