A Weekend In Milan

Having darted back to the UK for a 21st, I was happy to be back in Italy and even better, back in Milan. Again, like so many cities this summer, it was my first time here. We had lots on our list of things to do; visit the Milan Duomo, gaze up at the ceiling of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and visit the famous Last Supper painting by Leonardo di Vinci in the refectory of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie.

We were staying in the Navigli district, just south of the city centre and a short walk or taxi ride away from all the main attractions. I would highly reccommend either staying here or dining out here in the evenings as the ambiance was brilliant!
